Fabdealz ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based online store at fabdealz.co.uk. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can control it, in line with UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Information we collect
- Order details — name, email, delivery address, and phone number, so we can fulfil and ship your order.
- Payment information — processed directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Browsing information — pages visited and general usage data, collected via cookies, to keep the site working correctly (e.g. remembering your cart).
- Marketing data — if you accept non-essential cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors reach us from Facebook and Instagram ads, and to show you more relevant ads. This only runs after you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit.
How we use your information
- To process and deliver your orders
- To respond to customer service enquiries
- To send order confirmations and shipping updates
- To measure and improve the ads that brought you to our site (only with your cookie consent)
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary data with trusted third parties who help us run the store: Stripe (payments), our delivery carriers (to ship your order), and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for advertising measurement, only if you've accepted non-essential cookies. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the site and your cart working. With your consent, we also use non-essential cookies for advertising measurement. You can accept or decline these in the cookie banner shown when you first visit, or by clearing your browser's cookies to see the banner again.
How long we keep your data
We keep order and account records for as long as needed to meet our legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data, where we're not required to keep it
- Object to your data being used for marketing at any time
